This is the crew of the Andronica, the second ship that I was on during my time in Alaska. It had a reputation of being a very run down vessel, but I found it to be adequate and enjoyed my time with the good natured crew and their easy going style. Heres the crew: Skipper--Gary; Deck Boss--Jack; Cook--Ivan; Engineer--Chava; Deckhand-photographer--Sam (I included Sam's pic smiling) . We were very safety conscious often hiding from storms in the ice-pack and calling it a short day in rough weather. The crew seemed to sleep more than they actually worked; whereas I spent the majority of my off time playing on my lap-top into the wee hours of the morning.
